In 2013/ 2014 I  spent several months In Sri Lanka teaching at a rural school near Kosgoda, where I fell l in love with the country and its welcoming people.  In 2018 I returned for six glorious weeks, bringing along with my new husband Matt. We spent our honeymoon traveling across the country via buses, trains and tuk tuk ( surely the best way to travel) visiting my old friends, favourite places and discovering new ones together. Everywhere we went my sketchbook was close at hand, below are some of the sketches.
